NARRATIVE:
Nathan J. Gold was one of the incorporators of the Foundation, an active member of its Board of Directors and chairman of the Endowment Fund Committee from the beginning.  He also conceived the idea of creating memorials to prominent citizens on the travertine-paneled walls of the Lincoln Center building.
